First back back at school for the kids and so far so good. They came back in relatively good spirits enthusing about Anglo Saxons and Greek myths. I had a bit of a stressful conversation with school about greening up their space. Feels like it should be a no brainer these days and there are so many ways to do it despite Covid.
Ah well, I’m too knackered for any conflict today and too excited about getting on with work. Speaking of which, I laid out my ideas for the new book – fully drafted up and flatplanned – and I have the green light to get writing, so full steam ahead.
Weirdly – or actually not weirdly at all – feeling restless today after two more full on weeks simultaneously working and hanging out with the kids. Tomorrow I will do one of my dawn rising initiatives and reset for some early morning running and writing sessions. A new term for me too.
