SHIPPING & RETURNS

THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING WITH A BOTANICAL WORLD – WE HOPE THAT YOU HAVE ENJOYED YOUR EXPERIENCE SO FAR AND, AS A SMALL BUSINESS, REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR CUSTOM.

SHIPPING METHODS :

UK

A Botanical World is currently set up to ship to customers in the UK and the Isle of Man. Each product comes with two shipping choices:

Flat rate per item

Our flat rate shipping charges are specific to each item and include postage and packing. In many cases flat shipping rates apply per item due to the weight (e.g heavy book) or special handling (e.g. limited edition print) of the product. In this case shipping costs will be added in multiples but customers have the chance to calculate shipping costs in checkout before making a payment. Items will then be dispatched within 10 working days by Royal Mail 2nd class.

Note: Please bear with us on shipping times – we are a small business and aim to deliver as soon as possible within the allocated period. If you experience a delay or need an item urgently, please email hello@abotanicalworld.com and we will endeavour to do all that we can to help. Shipping costs are also offset against the time and care taken to create, produce, package and ship your product.

Local pick up

Local pick up is currently free. The item should then be collected at a convenient time for both parties from A Botanical World, 88 Claremont Road, London E7 0PZ – or an agreed address.

WORLDWIDE

If you would like to make an order from A Botanical World and are located outside of the zones stated above, please contact hello@abotanicalworld.com. We may be able to make a special arrangement for you, which may involved purchasing via bank transfer rather than the A Botanical World checkout.

US or other-language versions of books such as The Botanical Bible are available from affiliated vendors such as the publishers themselves. In this case, the product will be purchased via an external link and as such fall under the conditions of that vendor.

PREORDERS

Some items (such as books with a set publication date) are available for pre-order. Such items will include a note on their item description regarding expected dispatch dates e.g. ‘This item will be dispatched after the 18 October’. The usual dispatch times (see flat rate above) then apply or such items should also be available for local pick up.

PACKAGING  

A Botanical World goes with the old William Morris adage of ‘useful’ and ‘beautiful. Our products are therefore packaged to protect the item within but also with enough care and personal presentation to be given as gifts.

All packaging has also been sourced with sustainability in mind in line with the A Botanical World // The Botanical Bible ethos.

Limited Edition prints do not include framing, but we hope to add option within the store to add a a backing board and wrap for A4 prints – watch this space.

AFFILIATED VENDORS

Some items are also available to purchase from affiliated vendors rather than A Botanical World itself. The ‘buy now’ button will then take customers to an external site and the purchase will then be under the conditions of that vendor.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

CONDITIONS :

We hope that you love your purchases but if you do change your mind, please do email hello@abotanicalworld.com. We are here to help.

We are happy to accept returns for an exchange or refund within 21 days of receipt.

To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it including the original packaging.

In the unfortunate event that you received an item that has been damaged in transit, please notify us as soon as possible at hello@abotanicalworld.com and we will arrange a replacement to be sent wherever possible.

We do not accept returns of perishable goods such as food, flowers or magazines, or of earrings for health and safety reasons.

Regretfully we cannot exchange or refund custom made or sale items.

We also aim to send out exchanged like for like but in the event that such an item is no longer stocked or can be sourced we will contact you to discuss an alternative or issue a refund.

PROCESS :

To return or exchange your product, you should first email hello@abotanicalworld.com, then post it or bring  (at an agreed time) to: A Botanical World, 88 Claremont Road, London E7 0PZ

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.

Your exchange will be sent or a refund will automatically be applied to your debit/credit card or original method of payment. Please note that there is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Return shipping costs are met by the purchaser. Unfortunately shipping costs are non-refundable. You may wish to consider using a trackable service or purchasing postage insurance when returning your items as insurance against loss or damage in transit. Lost or damaged items in transit are the responsibility of the purchaser and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
