Cycling the boys to tennis and back with a trip to the bank in Leytonstone took me across both West Ham Park and Wanstead Flats. Another cold, mainly grey day but not without colour and spring interest thanks to the blossom trees and the wildflowers all around.

Today’s sightings included cherry blossom, bluebells, harebells, cow parsley, dead nettle, nettle, green alkanet and giant hogweed, a rampant ramble of green, white, blue, yellow and pink in the canopies and understory that was only just starting to come to life just a few weeks ago.

Managed to get zero work done but important paperwork delivered that may just bring new vistas. Grateful for the plants and flowers for being my constants along the way.
